I figure the strings that came with the guitar are not the highest quality to begin with. We will wait until she has her first lesson and then she can ask for what "type/brand" would be good for her...then I'll buy a gross of them.

Thats awesome Dood, kudos to Miss Dood for thinking of it, and the Lil Doodette for learning how to play. I wish I had learn to play an instrument myself, gets all the chicks
When I see my friends playing the guitar its so awesome. I wish I could move my fingers like that. They play anything from old school zep to new stuff. Something about a guitar that just kinda strikes you differently from something like a tuba. No offense to any tuba players out there.

Practice, practice, practice...you sound like my dad, Dood. Oh, wait! You are! Forgot about that for a second. =P
Of course I'll practice, I want to learn it, and I want to know how to play well, thanks. I'm not that lazy...when I want to learn something, though.

And Gwen Thor, your only 14? You look about 16 in my opinion, lol, but that's just me.
Good luck playing the Guitar, get a single/album released and I'll be 1 of the first to buy it.

What can I say, you requested it and I did my best. Then again, as those who've met me in TS can tell you, I'm hard to ignore for long. Everyone wants to comment about PieXags. Everyone wants PieXags.
Wink.

Hmmm...That makes me think. Since Gwen and I both have heard you in TS....and you are such a Deep & Heavy Cat....You should become Gwen's lead singer and form a band...A name for the band could be...PieSquawk....
The Pie for you of course.....and the Squawk for Gwen. Since she is learing and it will sound like a Squawk-Fest until she can play.
(HeHe..Gwen understands me on this...When Mrs Dood and I had to go to the Catholic Middle School Music Pagents at the end was always the school's band that played....it was a major Squawk-Fest....and it was painful to the ears, however as parents we all sat through it...*sigh*)
